ELP 4: An interview with Amrik

April 7, 2010

As we begin our 2010-2011 school year, TKs Clair Taylor and Clare Murray interviewed Amrik, our intern from Aston University. Amrik, an English major, has been spending his 3rd year here with us at Togaku. In this interview, Amrik talks about his life and adventures in Japan, some of his favorite things to do, and gives Togaku students some important advice. We hope you enjoy their talk. If you can, please let us know what you think of it by leaving a comment below.

If you are interested to read along with the conversation, please download the transcript from here.

Thanks for letting me know the latest podcast. It is very exciting to listen to my colleagues on the website. Jerry, you have an excellent voice (and intonation of course) as a podcast host! Amirk talked very clearly of his experience and observation in Japan. I believe many of our students will enjoy listening to him. Let’s inform them of this podcast. Thanks Clair and Clare for your wonderful job! Cherry blossoms are really lovely in the photo. P.S. The transcript in a Word file is helpful for our students indeed.

Hey! Great interview. I liked the pictures - it really helps the language.

Why don’t you interview the students who got back from overseas studies next?
